Little Barn Studios is named for the barn apartment I grew up in on a little vegetable farm in central Vermont.

It is the apartment where my father taught himself sound production. In the room next to my sister and my bedroom, we would go to sleep listening to him tuning voices every night. Now I think it was a strategic move on his part to give me the curse of near perfect pitch.

In that same apartment my mother wrote her debut novel and was first published as an author. To me, this little barn represents scrappy, hard work, not taking talent for granted, not waiting for opportunities to come to you. It represents the ground I was planted in and where my roots grew deep into rich soil full of stories and gave me the confidence to reach for more.

Little Barn Studios is an independent film production (virtual) house, bringing to life stories we don’t see from mainstream Hollywood. We are scrappy, self determined, go-getter types who don’t wait around looking for permission to be on set. We make our own.

Based in NYC, Little Barn Studios strives to build indie film to the east coast.
